Admission Procedures

Student/Agent forwards to Headmasters:
    1. Complete and sign (by yourself and a witness) the Headmasters Application of Enrolment form
    2. Send a copy of the Application of Enrolment Form along with a copy of your Passport, VISA (If already in Australia), IELTS test results (if required) and or other forms of English Language testing to Headmasters via fax, e-mail or in person.  If you do not as yet have your IELTS results or proof that you will be studying at an approved ELICOS provider before commencing at Headmasters, this can be provided at step 4.
    3. When you meet the requirement for entry Headmasters will then issue you a Letter of Offer with an agreed start date, completion date, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and payment details.
    4. Once the first instalment and offer of acceptance has been received, a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) will be issued.  When sending your payment, please ensure that you label your payment with your name as it appears on your passport.  Please also notify Headmasters that you have made a deposit.
    5. Take your COE to immigration for your VISA to be approved.
    6. Your journey can begin with Headmasters.  You are required to attend an orientation day commencing at 8:45am on the date outlined in your Letter of Offer.
Orientation and Induction

The orientation meeting is for new students to be introduced to Headmasters so that they are made familiar with our Headmasters Code of Practice, policies and procedures.  The orientation includes a tour of the Academy and an introduction to the training systems implemented (including training and assessment methods, units of competence, training plans and timetables).  Students are also introduced to the ‘Competency Passport’ which is a record of their training.  A timetable is provided after orientation, however, Headmasters reserves the right to vary session allocations throughout the program. 



Accommodation and Cost of Living
Headmasters’ Accommodation Officer can assist students to find accommodation. Options range from boarding with families, guest houses, hostels, flats and houses on a shared or individual basis.

Approximate costs of living in Melbourne is approximately $18,000 AUD per annum.

School Age Dependents
School aged dependents accompanying students to Australia are required to pay full fees if enrolled in a government or non-government school.

Tuition Assurance Scheme
Headmasters is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and supports the high standard of training and behaviour espoused by ACPET. Headmasters is a member of ACPET’s Tuition Assurance Scheme for Overseas Students, this ensures that students can enrol confident that they have the support the Assurance Scheme provides.

Articulation Arrangements
Headmasters has articulation agreements in place with Holmesglen Institute of TAFE and Holmes Colleges to allow students who have completed Diploma level qualifications to continue onto Bachelor of Business programs.
Where students require further training in English Language or Language, Literacy and Numeracy, Headmasters is able to organise training, free of charge.
