PRODUCTIVITY PLACES PROGRAM
The Federal Government has contracted Registered Training Organisations to offer FREE training places to eligible jobseekers in nationally recognised vocational courses in skills needs areas in order to meet the current skills shortages in the employment market. Headmasters has been approved under the scheme to deliver Certificate III in Hairdressing under this scheme.
The Productivity Places Program is an Australian Government initiative administered by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). Who is eligible for a free training place?
- People need to be currently looking for work
- Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
- Over the age of 15
- Have been assessed by an employment service provider or training organisation as having capacity to benefit from the training.
- Please note, full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible for the free training program.
What happens if you are not eligible?
If you not eligible to participate in the Productivity Place Program, you can still participate in this course however, you will be required to pay course fees (Contact Ron Smith to discuss your options). |
