Hair and Beauty Industry Association (HBIA) Recognition

Headmasters Academy students have dominated the prize winning at the 2010 HBIA Student, Apprentice and Educator of the Year Awards. Danielle Barca, from Rokk Ebony, won Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year. Nicole Richardson was placed second with a ‘Highly Commendable’ place in the Diploma of Beauty Therapy category.

The HBIA Awards, held in Melbourne, recognise students, apprentices and educators who excel in their chosen fields of hairdressing and beauty.

Daniella Barca started her hairdressing training with Headmasters while undertaking  her apprenticeship with the successful salon group Rokk Ebony.

As walking proof of the reward and satisfaction affiliated with hairdressing, Daniella would like to generate a wider interest and deeper respect for the hairdressing trade – ultimately promoting hairdressing as ‘the’ industry to be involved in.

Nicole Richardson also started her training with Headmasters as a Year 11 VCAL student studying the Certificate II in Make-up.  Following school, Nicole commenced her Diploma of Beauty Therapy.  Nicole is currently working at the 5 star Japanese Mountain Retreat Day Spa & Hot Springs in the Dandenong Ranges while she completes her studies and will be commencing full time employment once she finishes her course.

Headmasters Academy is a recognised hair and beauty industry training leader, based in the heart of Melbourne on Collins Street students enrolled in hair, beauty and now, fashion design.
